A 1:72 scale plastic model kit of the Soviet/Russian jet-powered ground-attack aircraft, the Sukhoi Su-25 (NATO reporting name: Frogfoot), by Zvezda. Nicknamed the "flying tank" for its incredible durability and firepower, this machine has been an icon of battlefield aviation from the late Cold War to contemporary conflicts.
The Su-25 was developed as a robust aircraft for Close Air Support (CAS). Its mission is to operate at low altitudes directly over the battlefield, destroying enemy tanks, fortifications, and manpower. Thanks to its heavily armored cockpit and ability to take off from unpaved airstrips, it became an indispensable workhorse for many air forces around the world, including former Czechoslovakia.
