A resin diorama aid in 1:24 scale from MAiM. The set serves to create footprints in a scene and holds patterns of sports shoes and hiking boots. It is not a figure but a scenic aid with which you can create believable tracks in mud, snow or dust. The set is supplied unpainted.
Footprints give a diorama story and movement without a character having to stand in the scene at all. The sports shoe and hiking boot patterns let you suggest which way survivors, soldiers or civilians went. The aid comes into its own on soft surfaces such as modeling clay, putty or material imitating mud and snow.
Clean any mold release layer off the patterns. Press the print into a surface that has not yet cured (putty, modeling compound, a paste imitating mud or snow) and let it dry. Then tint the tracks with washes and pigments so that they blend with the surrounding terrain and gain depth.
The aid is supplied unpainted. Paints, modeling compounds and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
