Responsibility details are not available.
This kit in 1:72 scale presents the late stages of development of the famous Stuka in the D-5, N and D-8 versions. The Night Attack Stukas boxing concentrates on the deployment of these aircraft for night attacks at the end of the Second World War, when the daytime sky already belonged to the Allies.
The Ju 87 is easily recognized by its inverted gull wing and its fixed, non-retractable landing gear. The D series received a more powerful Jumo engine and a number of aerodynamic refinements compared with the older versions. In 1943 to 1945, under the pressure of Allied air superiority, these late Stukas were deployed above all for night attacks; they were given exhaust dampers that prevented the crew from being dazzled by the flames from the engine. They were the last Stukas in the bomber role, used mainly on the Eastern Front.
Do not forget the characteristic exhaust dampers, which are typical of the night versions. Darker, faded schemes and restrained emphasis of the wear suit night service. The gull wing and the fixed landing gear deserve careful seating; a base coat helps unify the surface before the main shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
