Sea Moss from AMMO of Mig Jimenez is a scenic accessory for making bushes, tree canopies and undergrowth on dioramas and vignettes.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for three-dimensional vegetation in a scene. While static grass forms a flat area, this material is used to make something grow upward in a diorama: a bush, a shrub, a tree canopy, or growth pushing through a wall and over abandoned equipment. Its intricate structure is the main reason it has been used in modeling for decades.
Separate pieces by tearing with your fingers; a knife cut leaves a straight edge that stands out in the scene. It pays to use several smaller clumps instead of one large one, since a real bush has an irregular outline with gaps that let the background show through. Cyanoacrylate works for anchoring it; on porous terrain use white glue, and for taller clumps a piece of wire pushed into the base helps. Build up volume by sprinkling fine foliage into sprayed glue, which also unifies the shade with the surrounding vegetation. If you need to overspray with paint, use heavily thinned paint, briefly and from a distance, so the structure does not clump into a solid mass.
For builders of dioramas, vignettes and figure bases who want vegetation with volume and structure. The work does not require experience with precise gluing — the result depends mainly on how irregularly you arrange the clumps.
A scenic accessory for making vegetation. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
