A resin, 3D-printed model of the German MP 40 submachine gun in the large 1:16 scale from Firma49. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a separate weapon to be fitted into dioramas and figure scenes. The large scale allows a faithful rendering of the folding shoulder stock, the magazine and the fine detail of the body of the weapon.
The MP 40 was a German submachine gun of 9 mm caliber introduced during the Second World War. It was marked by its folding metal shoulder stock and was made in large numbers; it became one of the iconic weapons of the German infantry. It was used by assault and airborne units and by vehicle crews.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package.
