A set of barrels and periscopes for the German Type IX submarine (1:350) from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It is not a model but a metal detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels of the deck weapons and the periscopes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal barrels and periscopes for building a German Type IX submarine in 1:350 scale. It is not a kit of the submarine but a detail accessory for models of the German Type IX submarine. It is fitted in place of the plastic parts of the armament and the conning tower and markedly refines the look of a finished model.
Type IX was a large ocean-going submarine type of the Kriegsmarine intended for long-range operations in the Second World War. The set contains the barrels of the deck and anti-aircraft armament and the periscopes, that is the elements that look coarse in plastic and have a visibly inaccurate section.
Cut the plastic barrels and periscopes off and clean the surfaces up. Glue the metal parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Treat the metal with a primer before painting. Place the small parts with tweezers.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The submarine itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
