The 1:48 P-47D Thunderbolt is a finished collector model of the American fighter in 1:48 scale from the maker Easy Model. It is supplied assembled and painted; nothing is glued.

This is not a kit. The model comes from the factory assembled and painted, markings included, so nothing is glued, filled or sprayed. For a great many buyers that is the main argument: they want to have the given type in a display case but have neither the time nor the equipment for building. The 1:48 scale is the same as the one commonly used for aircraft kits, so the model fits in among hand-built examples of the same scale without trouble and matches them in size in a single display case.
The P-47D Thunderbolt was a single-seat single-engine fighter with a radial engine and a turbocharger housed in the rear of the fuselage. It was among the heaviest single-engine fighters of its day, which showed in its robust construction, its large fuel capacity and its ability to carry external stores. The armament consisted of 12.7 mm machine guns in the wings. The D version was the most numerous and was built in several production blocks, which differed in details of the canopy, the propeller and the equipment.
The model is finished, so it is judged by its shapes, the workmanship of the surface and the cleanliness of the printed markings. The recommended care is simple: place it out of direct sunlight, dust it with a soft brush and do not touch the surfaces with your fingers. If you move the model, hold it by the fuselage, not by the propeller, the tail surfaces or the landing gear, that is by the parts that are most sensitive on finished models.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. You need no glue, paints or other equipment for it.
