Italian Second World War jerry cans in the pattern 1 version, 1:35 scale. Two variants, five pieces of each, so ten cans in all.
Responsibility details are not available.
The jerry can is one of those small things without which a vehicle model looks like a product and not like a machine in the field. Italian Second World War vehicles carried fuel in sheet metal containers that were stacked in racks on the sides, on the fenders or loose on the bed; in North Africa, where the nearest depot was far away, a vehicle carried as many of them as would fit. The designation pattern 1 distinguishes one particular version of the container.
The set offers two versions, five pieces of each, so ten jerry cans in 1:35 scale in all. The cans are separate parts, so you can place them around the model as you see fit, or use them as a stockpile in a diorama, where they fill the corner of a field workshop or a heap beside a road.
Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder off carefully, so that the shape of the container stays crisp. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, choose the glue according to the material of the parts and check the details in the manufacturer's instructions. A jerry can is rewarding to paint: a base shade, a dark wash into the recesses and dry-brushing along the edges pull the shape out in a moment. Paint a few pieces differently from the rest, because in the field a load was made up of whatever was at hand.
For builders of Italian Second World War vehicles in 1:35 scale and for diorama work. The vehicle model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
