This set is NOT a model of a vehicle or an aircraft but a standalone diorama accessory. It is a miniature stove in 1:72 scale, made by high-resolution SLA 3D printing in resin. It serves to complete the atmosphere of an interior or a rear area of a scene where a source of heat has its logical place.
A stove fits domestic and farm interiors, field kitchens, workshops or improvised shelters. At the small 1:72 scale it works as a telling detail that gives a scene its sense of scale and a human dimension. It combines well with figures, furniture and other small items.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the print supports away carefully and sand the faces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a thin primer before painting; a cast iron look comes from a dark steel or graphite color, soot washes and a dry brush. Rust and a deposit of ash add credibility.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without other accessories. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
