Auto Mechanics is a set of finished painted figures of car mechanics in HO 1:87 scale from the American manufacturer Woodland Scenics. The figures are not glued or painted; it is enough to place them into a scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set belongs to the range of scenic figures from the American manufacturer Woodland Scenics. The figures are finished, assembled and painted, so they give you no extra work. The car mechanic theme brings a garage, a repair shop, a filling station, a depot or a yard with equipment to life. The figures are cast in working poses, thanks to which a scene immediately gains a story and stops looking like an empty backdrop.
Place the figures so that they relate logically to each other, that is, by an open hood, by tools or by a vehicle on a lift. The small base can be sunk into the terrain or sanded down and the figure glued with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue. If the finished colors look too clean to you, you unify them with their surroundings with a light pass of matte varnish and a fine dusting of pigment. Small details can also be fine-tuned with a brush, but that is not necessary. The proven rule is not to overdo the number of figures: a few figures absorbed in work look more believable than a crowd that would never have stood in a real yard.
For layout modelers in HO scale, builders of dioramas and collectors who want to bring a human dimension into a scene quickly without painting figures.
The figures are finished and painted; it is not a kit. They contain small parts and are therefore not suitable for small children.
