This set from Royal Model is made of finely etched metal and serves to create realistic barbed wire for military dioramas. Using photo-etch makes it possible to achieve a very fine rendition of the barbs, unattainable with harder materials.
The individual strips are cut, shaped and installed on posts or between barriers as the scene requires. The material holds its shape well and, once painted and rusted with pigments, looks entirely convincing. Glue, paints and posts are not included in the package.
