A white shade from the Mr. Color line intended for figures, where a clean white with no cast toward yellow is needed.
Responsibility details are not available.
Of all colors, white has the least ability to hide what lies beneath it. While a dark shade copes with any surface practically at the first attempt, white needs several passes, and when a modeler tries to take a shortcut with one generous coat, the result floods together and the fine relief beneath it disappears. That is exactly why it pays to start with a light base and to build only on that.
On figures it is the purity of the tone that matters. As soon as white goes yellow or gray, the eye spots it at once on a face, a collar or a uniform, because these areas are small and the viewer is close to them. The shade from this branch of the line is mixed for precisely such use: it is meant to stay neutrally white even under a clear coat and to provide a base for the subsequent shades of skin and fabric.
Apply it thinly and let each pass set briefly. The binder is solvent-based and dries quickly, so the coats can follow one another in fairly quick succession; it is thinned with the thinner supplied for this line, and water is no help here. Protect the finished surface from dust, because a light surface emphasizes every speck. If you are going to tint the shade, mix it drop by drop, as white absorbs an enormous amount of colorant before it moves. On figures it also pays to mix up a supply for several parts at once, because repeating the same ratio a second time is almost impossible.
Wipe residue around the neck of the bottle off at once, otherwise the cap will dry shut after a few openings.
