AK interactive Xtreme Metal Titanium

Xtreme Metal Titanium is a metallic modeling paint on a lacquer base from AK interactive. It is ready straight for airbrush spraying and contains fine metallic micro-pigments that, once dry, create a realistic metal surface in a titanium shade — a cool, slightly yellowish steel tone. It is neither an acrylic nor an enamel, so it is thinned and cleaned with the original Xtreme-range thinner and cleaner (ordinary lacquer or alcohol-based thinners are not suitable). The paint has strong coverage, does not attack the plastic, and can be topcoated without losing its shine.

Use

• Applied with an airbrush; mix the paint thoroughly before use, as the metallic pigment settles to the bottom.
• It looks best on a smooth, glossy base (ideally a gloss black primer).
• Apply the metallic finish last — it is harder to mask and re-spray.
• Suited to exhausts, engines, jet nozzles and metal parts on aircraft, vehicles and figures.
