Aber 1:16 photo-etched engine deck grilles for the Tiger I, Ausf.E, early version replace the coarser plastic grilles on the rear deck of a large model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set in photo-etched metal from Aber in 1:16 scale with the grilles of the cooling and ventilation openings of the engine compartment of the German Tiger I, Ausf.E heavy tank in its early form. It is not a tank model but an add-on set that replaces the thicker plastic grilles from a base kit.
The grilles on the engine deck are an element right in view. Fine photo-etched metal captures the thin slats and the openings more faithfully than injection-molded plastic and lets you see into the space beneath them. The set matches the early form of the Tiger I tank.
Separate the parts with a blade, straighten them and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Use a primer for metal before painting; a darker shade in the openings and a light dusting of dust will bring out the impression of depth.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a tank model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
