1:35 Ancient Pottery

AMMO Ancient Pottery (1:35)

This set from AMMO of Mig Jimenez brings a set of period vessels, jugs and pottery in 1:35 scale. It is neither a vehicle model nor a figure, but a diorama accessory that gives a scene a story and fills the empty places around buildings, marketplaces or supply scenes. The cast parts only need cleaning up, test-fitting where necessary and painting into a convincing terracotta or clay look.

Use

• Clean the parts of any casting residue and level the sanded edges.
• Settle the vessels onto the surface of a diorama with super glue or modeling cement, depending on the base.
• Paint with acrylics; a terracotta base is deepened by washes and dry-brushing for wear and dust deposits.
• Combine them with figures and buildings for faithful scenes of markets, yards or storehouses.

Who the set is for

It will be appreciated by builders of dioramas and display cases looking for credible props for figures and vehicles in 1:35 scale. The work is undemanding and suits less experienced modelers who want to try painting small accessories.

This is a diorama accessory, not a model kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
