A set of precisely cast movable white metal tracks in 1:35 scale for the German machines Tiger II (Königstiger) and Jagdtiger. It is not a model or a kit of the whole vehicle, but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic tracks from a boxed kit. Every link is a separate metal casting and once assembled the whole track moves freely.
Movable metal tracks give the massive running gear of the German heavy vehicles a realistic weight and allow the natural sag of the track between the road wheels and the return rollers, which rigid plastic parts cannot imitate faithfully.
Clean the links of casting residue, connect them with cut wire acting as a pin and assemble a continuous track. Join the parts with cyanoacrylate. A metal surface holds paint and pigments well; a primer and then washes and pigments for mud and wear effects are recommended.
It is a detail accessory, not a vehicle model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
