Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 fighter in the early Fresco-A version in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Kovozavody Prostejov. The At War edition brings the markings of machines deployed in combat. The kit combines a newer fuselage tooling with further injection-molded parts and color decals. Check the particular package contents and the number of decal schemes against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The MiG-17 was the direct development continuation of the famous MiG-15 with a reworked, more swept wing and better flying characteristics at high speeds. The early Fresco-A version still had no afterburner and was powered by a jet engine derived from the power plant of the MiG-15. The machine became one of the most widespread fighters of its time, served in dozens of countries and was deployed in combat in a number of conflicts.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, fill the seams and sand them down. Paint the interior of the cockpit and pick it out before you close the fuselage up; glue the glazing carefully with canopy glue. The machines were usually silver or in camouflage schemes, and after the varnish and the decals have gone on, bring the panel lines out with a wash and add wear appropriate to the markings you have chosen.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
