An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat trainer version of the Soviet MiG-29 fighter (the UB variant) in 1:48 scale. It is a reissue (rebox) from the Hobby 2000 brand: the plastic parts come from the mold of the manufacturer Academy, and the package is complemented by Cartograf decals and painting masks for the Polish Air Force. The exact number of parts and of decal schemes is given on the box.
The MiG-29 (NATO reporting name Fulcrum) is a twin-engine fourth-generation frontline fighter. The UB version is the two-seat combat trainer variant with two cockpits in tandem, intended for training and conversion of pilots. The MiG-29 became known as a highly agile frontline fighter and was among the widespread types of Soviet design in European air forces. The Polish Air Force operated MiG-29 machines for a long period and the two-seat UBs served for the training and conversion of crews.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints carefully. Apply a primer before the gray coats; the multi-color camouflage of the MiG-29 is best handled with an airbrush using the enclosed masks. Finish both cockpits and paint the glazing before you close the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
