Responsibility details are not available.
A large figure cast in resin for experienced modelers and figure painters. It represents a soldier of the German mountain troops (Gebirgsjäger) in the setting of the fighting in Yugoslavia in 1943, in 1:16 scale. Royal Model is an Italian manufacturer specializing in quality resin figures; the large scale offers a large area for detailed painting.
The German mountain troops (Gebirgsjäger) were trained for fighting in mountainous and hard-to-reach terrain. Their hallmarks were a cap with the edelweiss badge and specific mountain equipment. In 1943 extensive operations were under way in the Balkans in demanding terrain, which is what the equipment and the weapons of the real subject match.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent so that no mold release agent stays on the surface. Cut the casting blocks and supports off with a sharp scalpel or a fine saw; never break them off. Sand the marks wet and always with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer; the large scale shows in the flesh tone of the face and in the transitions on the uniform — work patiently in layers.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted in resin. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
