This resin set from Royal Model brings rolled tent sections and bedrolls in 1:16 scale, as the second part of this popular line. It is a cargo and scenic accessory for vehicles, dioramas and figure scenes, not a kit. The casting in quality polyurethane resin captures realistic folds of the fabric, the straps and the lashings, which come out in a large scale.
Rolled tents and blankets are placed on fenders, load beds and racks of vehicles or into the baggage of a crew. They give a model a lived-in, active look and break up the empty surfaces of a vehicle.
Wash the mold release off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and attach them with super glue. Apply a primer before painting; build the fabric in matte shades of khaki, gray or brown with a wash into the folds and a dry brush on the edges. Sand with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
