An injection-molded plastic kit from Revell in 1:24 scale representing the British McLaren 570S sports car of the Sports series. The package contains plastic parts, rubber tires, decals and instructions. This is a kit to be glued together and painted, not a finished model. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
The McLaren 570S is a sports car with its engine mounted amidships behind the cabin, built around a light carbon fiber central tub (the MonoCell) typical of this marque. It is driven by a turbocharged V8, and its distinctive features are the dihedral doors that swing upward and forward, the prominent side channels feeding air to the engine and the low aerodynamic silhouette. For all its sporting focus the 570S was conceived as a car usable every day, which broadened the range of the marque toward its more accessible models.
For maximum gloss, spray the body with an airbrush in layers of primer, color and clear coat with light sanding between them. Glue the glazing and the headlights with a cement for clear plastics. Prepare and paint the side air channels and grilles before the body is closed up. Apply the decals on a gloss surface and seal them. Fit the rubber tires at the very end.
