A set of five resin seats for the Iveco Lince in 1:35 scale as a replacement for the simplified parts from a plastic kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Royal Model casts this set in polyurethane resin. It contains five seats for the interior of the Italian Iveco Lince tactical vehicle and replaces the simplified parts from a plastic kit with them. The castings capture the shape of the bucket seats including the upholstery and the mountings, that is detail that injection-molded plastic usually only suggests.
The Lince is the Italian form of a light multipurpose armored vehicle. It came about from the need to protect a crew against mines and booby traps without the vehicle losing the mobility of an ordinary field car. The interior is cramped, with a high dashboard and prominent bucket seats mounted so as to absorb a shock from below. That is exactly why the seats are clearly visible through open doors and through the roof hatch and why it pays to invest time in them.
Wash the castings in warm water with detergent and cut the remains of the casting blocks off with a saw. Paint the seats away from the model while you still have access to them from every side: bring the covering out with a dark wash and lighten the edges carefully with a dry brush. Glue them into the vehicle with super glue and check whether they sit at the right height relative to the floor. You can add the seat belts yourself from a thin strip of paper.
This is a resin accessory for an interior. Neither the kit of the vehicle nor any means of painting are in the delivery.
