This 3D-printed resin detail set holds the front and rear fenders of the Merkava Mk.3 tank together with the rear stowage boxes shown in the open position. It is not a model but an accessory for 1:35 scale that gives the model finer shapes and the chance to show the inside of the boxes.
The Merkava, meaning chariot in Hebrew, is an Israeli main battle tank with a front-mounted engine that shields the crew. Fenders and generously laid-out stowage are typical of this type; the crew carries kit and supplies in them. The Mk.3 version brought a new turret, a more powerful drive train and modular armor.
Wash the resin parts to remove print resin residue, cut off the print supports and sand the cuts down with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The open boxes are worth filling with a little cargo and giving the interior a different color, which looks convincing once brought out with a wash.
This is an accessory detail set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
