A decal sheet in 1:35 scale with the lettering for the Panzerfaust antitank launcher and with Volkssturm insignia. An accessory for figures and for gear on a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
In 1:35 scale the sheet offers two groups of subjects: the lettering carried on the tube of the German single-use Panzerfaust antitank launcher, and the insignia of the German Volkssturm home guard, raised in the closing stage of the Second World War. The tube of the launcher had printed operating instructions and warnings on its surface, so a smooth, unlettered one looks empty on a model. The insignia in turn set a home guardsman apart from a soldier of a regular unit, even though the figures look much alike at first glance.
The elements belong on figures in 1:35 scale and on gear laid out around a diorama, that is, on weapons propped up and set aside, into crates and at the defense of a built-up area. It is precisely small things of this kind that set a scene from the last phase of the war apart from a general military scene, without anything having to be rebuilt.
Prepare the base under the elements smooth, clean and degreased; on a rough coat the edge will not stick down and will stay visible. Check the exact method of application, and whether the elements are soaked, in the manufacturer's instructions, and do not go by guesswork.
The sheet is for the modeler who is building a scene from the last months of the war and wants the gear lettered as it really looked. The elements are very small in this scale, so expect to need tweezers, good light and a steady hand. Figures, weapons, paints and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
