A detail upgrade set in 1:35 scale from the Italian maker Royal Model, intended to refine the plastic kit of the German Panzerwerfer 42 rocket launcher from Italeri. Note: it is not a model in its own right; the set does not contain the whole vehicle but additional parts that replace or complete sections of the base kit and raise its level of detail. As a rule it combines resin and photo-etched parts.
The set adds the fine detail that injection-molded plastic cannot capture: thin etched elements, well-worked-out castings and further refinements. The result is a more faithful and more impressive model of the Panzerwerfer 42, and you will appreciate it above all when building to exhibition standard.
Wash the resin parts clean of mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks, and bend the photo-etch carefully over an edge. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Go by the instructions of the base kit and of the enclosed set alike, and clean each part up beforehand. Working with the set is suited rather to more experienced modelers.
This is an additional set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
