1:35 ULTIMATE IDF ARMOR DECAL SET

What the set is for

Markings turn an armored vehicle into a particular machine. Israeli army vehicles carry tactical signs, numbers and warning lettering on the armor, on the side skirts and on their equipment, and without them a model stays a single-color silhouette. They are hard to paint by hand: small shapes on a broken and rarely flat surface.

What the set contains

This is a decal sheet in 1:35 scale, the same scale as the usual models of military vehicles. The set is listed as a comprehensive one for Israeli armored vehicles, so it is not tied to a single vehicle type. Check the exact list of subjects and the vehicles it suits against the manufacturer's information and the enclosed instructions.

How the decals are applied

• coat the surface under the decal with a gloss varnish, as a matte surface causes clouding
• cut the subject out close to the edge of the printing, so that as little carrier film as possible is left
• after transferring it, line the position up and blot the excess water with soft paper
• on a broken surface a decal softener helps, and the decal then beds into the engraving
• once fully dry, go over it with a matte varnish and only then start weathering

Who it is for

For builders of Israeli vehicles who want their markings crisp and legible without painting by hand. The model, paints, glue and varnishes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise; check the exact contents of the package against the manufacturer's information.
