Injection-molded plastic kit of the French interwar multi-seat combat aircraft Dyle et Bacalan DB-10 in 1:72 scale from Mikromir. It is a short-run kit of an unusual subject with a finely engraved surface; it calls for more careful fitting and suits more experienced modelers.
The DB-10 was a French heavy multi-seat combat aircraft of the late 1920s, conceived as a multirole machine for escort, bombing and combat. Its unusual structure with a massive central fuselage and the armament and crew distributed among several stations was characteristic. Only a small number of prototypes were built, which makes it all the rarer and more interesting as a subject for a modeler.
With a short-run kit, allow for cleaning the parts of flash and for dry-fitting them first. Use liquid cement for plastic and fill the gaps with filler. Mask the glazing and apply the matte surfaces with an airbrush in thin coats; pick out the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
