The kit captures the six-wheeled (6x6) export version of this widespread vehicle and offers finely rendered parts including a detailed instrument panel and the tire inflation system.
The VAB (Véhicule de l'Avant Blindé, that is armored forward vehicle) is a French wheeled armored personnel carrier that serves in many countries on every continent. The French Army uses mainly the four-wheeled version (4x4), while the six-wheeled version (6x6) is exported — states of North Africa and the Middle East chose it, for example, for better going across country. The vehicle, with a powerful engine and an automatic transmission, was often used in combat and on peacekeeping missions, among others under the UN and NATO.
On armored vehicles, assemble and paint the chassis and the interior before you close the hull. Glue the plastic parts with thin modeling cement and any small parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer and spray the colors with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheels and the lower body come to life with a wash into the recesses and dust pigments for the effect of use across country.
