An acrylic paint from the Model Air range in a 17 ml bottle, a brown shade listed by the manufacturer under the number 3606, from the palette of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
The brown with the number 3606 belongs to the palette of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, whose equipment wears a two-color camouflage made up of a dark green and a brown. Other manufacturers offer shades of the same scheme as well, so you can choose according to the paint range you already work with. The shade suits armored and transport equipment of the postwar and present-day Japanese forces and serves just as well as a neutral earth brown in other schemes.
The paint belongs to the Model Air range, that is the range made ready for spraying with an airbrush. The pigment is finely ground and the paint has a low density, so for most work it can be sprayed straight from the bottle. The package holds 17 ml. It is an acrylic paint thinnable with water or with the thinner of the same range; the thinning ratio follows the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
Shake the bottle properly before use, as the pigment settles. Wash and degrease the surface and use a base coat, since acrylic paint holds poorly on bare and greasy plastic. Spray in thin coats, as one heavy coat fills in fine surface detail. It can also be applied with a brush, but then expect several passes, because the paint is deliberately thinner for spraying. Once dry, the surface will take a clear coat and later shading techniques.
The bottle of paint itself, 17 ml, is supplied. Thinner, base coat and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
