US Marines Air Group 1:350 (Trumpeter) is a set of small carrier aircraft and helicopters of the United States Marine Corps for ship models, not a standalone aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit is not a single aircraft model but a complete set of miniature aircraft and helicopters of the United States Marine Corps in 1:350 scale. It serves to fill the decks and hangars of models of amphibious and helicopter ships, or to build dioramas. The set by the manufacturer Trumpeter contains a larger number of small aircraft of several types molded in plastic.
The air group of the United States Marine Corps combines tiltrotors, heavy and light helicopters and vertical takeoff aircraft. Among the types represented are the MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor, the heavy CH-53E helicopter, the CH-46E transport, the multipurpose SH-60, the AH-1W attack helicopter and the AV-8B Harrier vertical takeoff attack aircraft. Together they form the typical air complement of the group aboard amphibious ships.
Cut the miniature parts from the runners with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Given the small size, painting with an airbrush and a fine brush in the unifying dark gray shades of naval aviation works well. It pays to glue the rotors and propellers on only after painting. For a clean result, a light accent on the panel lines with a dark wash helps.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
