A resin (3D-printed) nose cone for the two-seat Mirage 2000D attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. An accessory for the Kinetic / Italeri kit, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed nose cone made by direct 3D printing in resin by Reskit, intended for a model of the French Mirage 2000D attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is a resin replacement for the forward fuselage for more experienced modelers, not a standalone aircraft model. The set replaces the plastic nose from the box with a more faithfully shaped part.
The set addresses the shape and detail of the radar antenna cover on the nose. The shape of the cone differs between the individual Mirage 2000 versions, so the part is tied to a particular subject. The accessory is designed for the Kinetic and Italeri kits; judge the exact number of parts from the package.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports away and sand the surfaces using respiratory protection. Bond with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay down a primer before painting; check the joint with the fuselage dry and fine-tune it with filler if needed.
This is a resin accessory. The base aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
