A detailed resin (3D-printed) set of the exhaust nozzle for the Swedish Saab JA-37 Viggen fighter aircraft in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that replaces the plastic nozzle from the kit with a faithfully made resin part. The set is designed for Viggen kits from Special Hobby.
The Viggen had a powerful engine with an afterburner, and its exhaust nozzle is a conspicuous feature of the rear end. The resin part brings sharp petals and realistic depth, which plastic usually renders in simplified form. The set therefore raises the scale accuracy of the rear of the model with a minimum of work.
Separate the parts from the support structures, wash and degrease them; they are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. Paint the nozzle in burnt metal shades and bring out the recesses with a wash and a fine dry brush.
This is an add-on set, not an aircraft model. It is supplied unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
