A resin figure of an American mechanic in a working pose in 1:48 scale. The casting in good polyurethane resin offers finely made working clothes and a strong face. The figure is ideal for bringing airfield areas, workshops and scenes around vehicles to life, and it is supplied as a kit of several parts.
Ground personnel and mechanics made up the indispensable support of combat aircraft and vehicles alike. Maintenance, refueling and preparing equipment were everyday routine. A figure of a mechanic at work gives a diorama scale and a human dimension, whether beside an aircraft or a vehicle.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the parting lines down with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a thin primer; working clothes come out well in khaki and olive shades with shading and dry-brushing.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
