This injection-molded plastic kit captures the famous British ocean liner in the compact 1:700 scale. The Revell set offers a multi-part hull, decks with molded planking, funnels, lifeboats with davits and a stand for display. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
At the time of her completion R.M.S. Titanic was one of the largest and most luxurious passenger liners in the world. On her maiden voyage across the Atlantic in April 1912 she sank after striking an iceberg, which became one of the best-known maritime disasters in history. The ship was powered by a combination of reciprocating engines and a turbine driving three propellers.
Build the hull as a single whole and take care to clean up the seams. The characteristic look comes from a black hull, white superstructures and buff and black funnels; paint the transitions with an airbrush and masking. Fit the small boats and davits only after the paintwork is done. In 1:700 scale patience pays off with the small parts. Use the enclosed stand for display.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
