A model of the Italian three-engine bomber CANT Z.1007bis Alcione in 1:72 scale from the Italian maker Italeri. The model allows both the single-fin and the twin-fin version to be built, and the box contains new decals. A kit to be glued and painted.
The CANT Z.1007 Alcione was an Italian three-engine bomber of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure. The bis version was more powerful and the most widely built; it was driven by three Piaggio P.XI radial engines of around 1000 hp and existed in single-fin and twin-fin form.
We recommend building the model in subassemblies and dry-fitting the parts before gluing them. Paint the cockpit and the interior and pick out the detail with a wash before you close the fuselage. For the best result use a good thin plastic cement, fine files and an airbrush after the primer coat. Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
