Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Revell. It captures the German Flakpanzer IV Möbelwagen anti-aircraft tank, armed with the 3.7 cm Flak 43 gun. The model is meant to be assembled and painted and includes a decal sheet for several color schemes. It is a rewarding army model that also suits dioramas.
The Möbelwagen, literally furniture van, was built on the proven chassis of the Panzer IV tank as a mobile anti-aircraft platform. It got its nickname from the tall folding armor walls, which in the transport position resembled the box of a furniture van; before firing, the walls were folded down and opened up an all-round field of fire for the gun crew. At the end of the war the vehicle was to protect armored units against Allied aircraft.
First finish the running gear and the lower hull, and only then close up the superstructure. The folding side walls can usually be built either folded down or raised, which is worth using for a striking scene with the gun exposed. For weathering, washes into the recesses work well, as do pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear. A primer and an airbrush suit the base camouflage, with the details done by hand with a brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
