Responsibility details are not available.
This gift set in 1:72 scale from Revell contains two injection-molded plastic kits of fighter aircraft linked with the Top Gun film series. In the set you will find the two-seat F-14 Tomcat carrier fighter and the modern single-seat F/A-18 in the Super Hornet version, together with decals carrying the film markings. The box is conceived as a complete gift: paints, glue and a brush are included.
The F-14 Tomcat is the famous carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing that became the icon of the first film. The F/A-18 Super Hornet is its more recent successor, a multirole carrier aircraft that appears in the sequel. Both machines are typical carrier fighters of the US Navy and together they form a generational pair.
The cockpits and the landing gear come out best if painted before the fuselage is closed. Apply the enclosed paints with a brush or thin them for an airbrush; glue the joints with liquid cement for plastic. The film marking decals settle better onto a smooth clear coat. With the wing of the Tomcat, decide in advance whether you will fix it in the spread or the swept position.
The set contains paints, glue and a brush; both models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
