Revell H.M.S. Beagle 1:96 is a plastic kit of the historic sailing barque on whose deck Charles Darwin made his five-year voyage of discovery.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a historic sailing ship in 1:96 scale from Revell. The model captures the textured hull with its gun ports, a detailed deck with hatches, a decorated bow, masts with yards, two anchors and a companion ladder. This is a more demanding kit from a higher difficulty grade.
H.M.S. Beagle was a British sailing ship which in December 1831 set out on a five-year voyage around the world. On board was the young naturalist Charles Darwin, whose observations during the voyage laid the foundations of the theory of evolution. The ship thus became one of the most famous vessels in the history of science.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, and take your time over the rigging and the yards. Paint the hull with an airbrush or a brush and pick the details out with a wash. A suitable display stand is worth having for the ship.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
