312 Luminous yellow

Revell Email Color 312 Luminous Yellow – silk matte signal paint, 14 ml

A Revell synthetic enamel (solvent-based) paint in a 14 ml package. Luminous Yellow is a luminous, striking signal yellow with a silk matte (satin) finish. The number in the name at Revell marks the degree of gloss, not the shade – the 3xx range is silk matte. The binder is a synthetic resin that does not attack plastic; it is thinned only with Revell Color Mix, never with water. Luminous and signal shades tend to have weaker coverage, so a white base is recommended; as a signal color it is not mixed with other shades.

Use

• To let it come out fully, apply it over a white (or light) base – it increases the luminosity and the coverage.
• Build the coverage in thin coats; one heavy coat will not guarantee even cover.
• Do not mix it with another signal or an ordinary paint – it would lose its luminosity.
• It is thinned with Revell Color Mix and cleaned with solvent, not with water.

Who the paint is for

For modelers who need a striking luminous yellow – warning and rescue elements, sports and racing vehicles, accessories that call for a signal color.

A solvent-based paint – flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area, out of the reach of children. Do not thin with water.
