About product

Revell Email Color 62 Sea Green - gloss enamel paint, 14 ml

A synthetic enamel (solvent-based) modeling paint from Revell in the proven 14 ml tinlet. Sea Green is a rich darker green with a gloss finish. The binder is a synthetic resin that does not attack the plastic; the paint is thinned solely with Revell Color Mix, never with water. With the Revell range the number in the name does not identify the shade but the degree of gloss - two-digit numbers such as 62 belong to the gloss or flat paints, while the 3xx series is silk matte (seidenmatt).

Use

  • Brush it straight from the tinlet; for an airbrush thin it with Revell Color Mix.
  • The gloss finish makes a good base under decals - it reduces the risk of silvering under the film.
  • Two thin coats cover more evenly than one heavy one.
  • It is ready for recoating in 4 to 6 hours and fully cures in about 24 hours.
  • Clean brushes and the airbrush with a solvent cleaner, not with water.

Who the paint is for

For plastic modelers who prefer proven solvent-based enamels with a durable, well-covering film and are looking for a rich gloss green shade.

A solvent-based paint and flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area, out of the reach of children. Do not thin with water.
