730 Orange

Revell 730 Orange, synthetic paint 14 ml

A modeling paint from the Revell synthetic range in a 14 ml tinlet. The shade is listed under the manufacturer's part number 730 with the name Orange. The tinlet is intended for painting plastic models and is suitable both for a brush and for an airbrush.

How to work with the paint

• Stir the contents thoroughly before use; the pigment settles and without stirring the shade will be off.
• Apply thin coats and let them dry between each other; one heavy coat buries the detail and keeps the brush marks.
• For an airbrush thin the paint with a thinner for synthetic paints, not with water.
• Clean brushes and the gun with the same thinner right after work, as dried synthetic paint is hard to remove.
• Close the tinlet carefully after use, otherwise the paint in it will thicken.

What the shade is used for

A strong orange appears on models wherever a surface is meant to be seen from a distance: warning and signal markings, trainers and rescue aircraft, sports cars or works machinery. Bright shades generally cover less well, so it pays to apply them over a light base, ideally over a white primer.

A note on storage

Store the paint in a closed tinlet away from heat and frost. Thickened paint can be thinned again, but check the shade after thinning on a test piece of plastic, not straight on the model.

The package contains only the 14 ml tinlet of paint. Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and a model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
