Responsibility details are not available.
Shade 75 is a synthetic enamel paint on a solvent base (not an acrylic) with a matte finish and a color match to RAL 7030. The bottle holds 14 ml. It is thinned with Revell Color Mix or with mineral spirits, never with water. It can be used with a brush and with an airbrush and does not attack the plastic surface of a model. Please note that this is a model paint, not a kit.
Stone gray is the lightest of this group of four. While the granite gray 69 is a dark foundation, 75 is the light surface, the tone of faded stone, dry concrete and dusty camouflage. It has neither the green undertone of shade 67 nor the aviation darkness of shade 74. It is precisely its lightness that makes it the ideal partner for darker grays: on a model it creates the contrast that holds the whole gray palette together.
Gray shades are rewarding for preshading and modulation. Shade 75 is built for that: spray a darker gray on the edges of the panels and into the seams, then brighten the center of the area with shade 75. On concrete and stone, dry brushing works: draw 75 over a darker base with a slightly dried brush and the raised edges come out on their own. Add a dark wash into the seams and the surface immediately gains depth.
For modelers of aircraft, vehicles and dioramas who need a light stone gray, whether as a surface of its own or as a lightening tone in a gray palette.
A flammable liquid. It irritates the airways. Work in a well ventilated space and use respiratory protection when spraying with an airbrush. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use near open flame.
