A resin figure of a German soldier of the Second World War period in a genre subject of resting over a meal, in the collector size of 75 mm. It is made by the Italian brand Royal Model from quality polyurethane resin with an emphasis on fine detail of the face, the equipment and the folds of the uniform. The set is intended for more experienced modelers and figure painters.
The figure captures an ordinary moment of military life away from combat and suits both bringing a diorama to life and standing as a collector's piece on its own. The 75 mm size gives enough room for well worked out painting of the skin, the uniform and the small accessories.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent, carefully cut the casting blocks off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding of resin with respiratory protection. Apply a primer before painting; figures are most often painted with acrylic or oil paints with gradual shading.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
