Email Color is a synthetic enamel paint on a solvent base (not an acrylic) that does not etch plastic and, once dry, holds as a firm, durable film. The sheen is matte and the shade matches the RAL 7031 standard. It is thinned with Revell Color Mix or with mineral spirits, never with water.
For modelers of aircraft and ships who need a dependable matte blue-gray, and for everyone who mixes their own shades, because a blue-gray is a rewarding base both for lightening and for modulating large areas. A matte surface is at the same time an ideal base for washes, drybrushing and other weathering.
