80 Mud brown

Revell Email Color 80 Mud Brown - a gloss enamel paint, 14 ml

A synthetic enamel (solvent-based) modeling paint from Revell in a 14 ml package. The Mud Brown shade is a darker earthy brown; according to the manufacturer this is the gloss variant. The binder is a synthetic resin that does not attack plastic; it is thinned exclusively with Revell Color Mix, never with water. In the Revell range the number in the name also tells the surface finish - two-digit numbers such as 80 belong to the gloss or matte paints, while the 3xx series is silk matte. The paint can be applied with a brush as well as with an airbrush once thinned.

Use

• With a brush straight from the tin; for the airbrush thin it with Revell Color Mix.
• An earthy brown suits running gear, fenders, wood, leatherette and structural elements.
• Two thin coats cover more evenly than one heavy one.
• It dries enough to be painted over in 4 to 6 hours and cures fully in roughly 24 hours.
• Clean brushes and the airbrush with a solvent-based cleaner, not with water.

Who the paint is for

For the modelers of plastic models and dioramas who need a saturated brown enamel paint with a durable film - for vehicles, equipment and scenic elements.

A solvent-based paint - flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area, out of the reach of children. Do not thin with water.
