Revell Email Color 93 Copper – metallic enamel paint, 14 ml

A Revell synthetic enamel (solvent-based) metallic paint in a 14 ml package. The Copper shade is a warm copper with a metallic shine. The binder is a synthetic resin that does not attack plastic; it is thinned only with Revell Color Mix, never with water. With metallic paints the metal pigment settles at the bottom, so stir the paint thoroughly before and during work – otherwise the shade will not be even. Metallic paints look best over a smooth, finely sanded base and are applied rather at the end, because they are harder to mask and to overspray.

Use

• Stir carefully before and during work, so that the pigment is dispersed.
• Apply over a smooth, finely sanded base – a metallic shine emphasizes unevenness.
• Apply it rather at the end of the build; metallic paints are harder to mask and to paint over.
• With a brush straight from the bottle, and for an airbrush thin it with Revell Color Mix.
• Clean with a solvent cleaner, not with water.
