This set from the Build and Play range by Revell brings Jackson Storm, the modern racer from the Disney Cars film. It is built for children and beginners: the parts are pre-painted and are joined with the enclosed child-sized screwdriver and screws, so no glue or paints are needed. The finished model has working lights and sound effects and play features such as a movable hood and interchangeable facial expressions.
Jackson Storm is Lightning McQueen's main rival in the film Cars 3 — a sleek dark next-generation race car fitted with the latest technology. He stands for the young, technically advanced competition McQueen has to face.
The model goes together without glue; the parts snap into place and are secured with screws. The set can be taken apart and reassembled again and again, which is ideal for developing fine motor skills and technical thinking. The light and sound functions are triggered by a press and powered by button cells, which are usually included in the package.
The parts are pre-painted and are screwed together without glue and without painting. Batteries for the lights and the sound are usually included in the package.
