About product

Revell Weathering Set: weathering set

A Revell set intended for weathering and aging models. It holds six powder pigments in shades for mud, dust, rust and other effects of exposure, together with instructions for the individual techniques. The powder pigments are applied dry with a brush into recesses, onto running gear, undersides and edges, where they create realistic deposits of dust, mud and rust. The set is versatile and suits tanks, cars, aircraft and dioramas.

Use

  • Applying the pigments dry with a brush onto running gear, undersides and edges.
  • Reproducing dust, mud, rust and weathering.
  • The pigment can be fixed with a suitable fixer or thinner.
  • Combine the shades for more convincing transitions.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want to weather their models realistically. It is a set of effects, not a kit.

This is a fine powder: do not inhale it and work where there is no draft, so that the pigment does not scatter.

FAQ

Six powder pigments in shades for mud, dust, rust and other effects of exposure, plus instructions for the weathering techniques.

Dry, with a soft brush into recesses and onto running gear, undersides and edges. For durability, fix them afterwards with a suitable fixer.

No, it is a set of weathering pigments for finishing off patina and effects, not an opaque paint for the whole model.
