Styrene Strip 0.75 × 2.00 × 350 mm from AK interactive is a pack of ten rigid polystyrene strips for frames, structures and reinforcing your own parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package contains ten plastic strips with a rectangular cross-section of 0.75 × 2.00 mm and a length of 350 mm. The material is polystyrene — a plastic that can be cut with a knife, glued with model cement, sanded and painted. This is not a model or parts for a specific kit, but material for your own work.
Three-quarters of a millimeter of thickness makes a difference: the strip already holds its shape clearly, does not twist when glued, and does not flex over long straight runs. It suits anywhere the profile needs to actually carry or hold a precise line, not just suggest surface detail.
Do not try to scribe all the way through the thicker material in a single stroke. Scribe it about halfway through and snap off the rest — the cut then comes out straight, and the knife will not skid along your ruler. Level the ends on sandpaper laid on a flat board before gluing, or a gap will appear in the frame's corner. Use thin liquid polystyrene cement to join the pieces; when building a larger frame, dry-fit the parts first and tack them together at points, then run cement along the joints. Any resulting seams can be sanded and filled once dry.
This is a building material, not a finished model. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
