This product is neither a kit nor a finished model: it is a set of photo-etched metal parts from the Polish manufacturer Aber intended for making faithful fenders for models of the light German armored half-track Sd.Kfz. 250 in the late simplified Neu version in 1:35 scale.
The Sd.Kfz. 250 Neu was the simplified variant produced from 1943 with a less faceted hull, easier to build than the original type. The photo-etched fenders replace the thick plastic parts from the box with thin metal with the right profile and crisp edges, which markedly raises the realism of the wheel arches and the sides of the vehicle.
Glue the photo-etched sheet with super glue (cyanoacrylate); for strength the joints can be soldered. Make longer bends in a photo-etch bending tool or over a metal ruler. Degrease the metal before painting and coat it with a primer. Recommended for modelers with experience of photo-etch.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
